tChat is and interesting startup project. I was involved since the early creation of the app. The idea is simple: a social app for commuters and people traveling by train. Discover who is traveling with you, chat and meet them by the app.
As a startup with limited budget, we had to think, design and develop in a few months to be quickly able to place it on stores and let people start using it.
I was responsible of the UX and UI design, in a team composed by developers, graphic designer and marketing
The app had a good start, first in Ticino, than in the whole Switzerland. It has been presented during The next web european convention, shown during swiss tv news, and published on newspaper.
From tChat we also developed an app called Next Stop which is capable of showing nearbie available public transports.
SPOTTEDMAP
Social app about Missed Connection (2015)
Spotted map is the app developed by a Startup born and located in the USI (University of Lugano). The idea arise from the real need to connect with people we casually meet in our everyday life. It's inspired to "spotted" facebook pages, but give users the opportunity to chat with people they meet by place, under the same roof. The user is anonimous.
MY ROLE
I'm the only UI / UX designer and I have to redesign the app for web, android and iOS. The team is composed by some students and workers that are employee on the project part time. I was full involved into the new analysis, I worked with the gamification team and now I'm designing the Web and mobile Interface.
TIMMUSIC
The new Cubomusica app (2014)
After the redesign of TIMVision, we had to make more consistent the TIM apps, so I redesigned the existing apps with the new graphic line and with some new improvements and features.
MY ROLE
I designed the UI for iOS, Android, Windows phone, working daily with the developers located in Slovenia and our Project Manager.
SUPERFLASH LIVE
Music app (2013)
Superflash Live was a project developed for Superflash, the bank services for younger clients of Banca Intesa.
My Role
I had to design the iOS version of the just designed Android app, then I had to design also the icon of the app according with the graphic team that produced the Superflash logo and the graphic line and produce the stuff for the delivery.
TIMVISION
Video streaming contents apps for web, mobile, tv (2013)
The project was about the redesign and re-think of the Cubovision service (then Timvision). The service was composed by three main groups: Live television, the current TV show, Video on demand, Time-shifted television, replays a TV show that was broadcast hours or days ago. The service is for two kind of users: suscribers that can watch suscribed contents, not subscribed customers, that can buy video on demand.
The existing service was for tv, web, iOS, Android, xBox, but it wasn't uniform and consistent. We worked with a third part for the backend, one of the main technology ousourcing companies
ANALISYS AND DESIGN
The target was to create an app that was consistent in every device. I was involved as the responsible and unique designer since the start of the project, my role was very creative because I should think the user exerience, but also to the information architecture, the interaction design and, obviusly, the graphic design. There was a lot of groups involved in the project, so we had to quickly present wireframes and than a lot of mockup, according to the large number of workflow, divided by kind of content and the user. I was the person in charge for the UI design, as team leader and I worked also with the Contents and Graphic team of our Client.
WEB AND APPS
While the project was growing, after the first design of the web pages, I worked in team with my collegues in order to produce mockup for apps: iOS, Android, Winphone, for smartphones and tablets too.
TV
Last but not least we designed the smart tv and decoder interface. It was actually a new experience, with as benchmark decoders, apps for smart tv, home video games console such as Xbox, digital media player such as Apple tv, Google tv and so on. We had to design the on Demand mockups, but also the extra services of the decoder and the live tv behavior.
The project had a new partial redesign and it's delivered.
CUBOMUSICA MOBILE
The TIM music streaming service (2011)
The project was born on web, with flash technology and it's limitation, then became a mobile app for iOS, than for Android and Windows phone OS. It was also present on the TIM Cubovision decoder and app for smart tvs. A redesign of the web service was made when it was possible to use the html5 technology for streaming After two shorter projects with TIM, TIMpocket, an app designed for bringing the main contents surfed on smartphone to the smallest old cellular phone, and the rich homepage of TIM mobile internet stick, when I worked closely with the Client team and the Agency that developed a part of the product, it started the biggest and longest one.
Cubomusica Web, first version
This service was delivered in a one-page site, because the limits of the flash technology. I worked in team with a collegue skilled in design and user experience. It was a huge work of user experience, from the analysis to the complexity of designing something that should be usable in a so small space. I also designed the intro pages and the ones related to the service infos. I developed them. I met several times the Client team
Cubomusica app
I designed and presented first the iOS app, from sketches to delivery. Then I started to work with a younger collegue to the Android app, then to the Winphone app, and finally to the Android redesign for Jelly bean version.
TV
I work closely with the TIM Turin development center team in order to design a version suitable for the Cubovision and bollino Gold decoder, and their Team that develop apps for Samsung and LG
Cubomusica Web, redesign
With my collegue, junior designer skilled on UX and interaction design too, we redesigned the app, from the analisys, tests and surveys, to sketches and finally mockups and stuff for the delivery. We worked also with the results of the test with users made by a third specialist. I meet the product team several times, presenting the phases of the design and the improvements. When the graphic and social contents was took in charge by a third agency, I helped to trace the guidelines and collaborate with them
Other stuff
We produced also a lot of material for the site, such as pages for special events, banners, etc. I designed a flash based presentation of the app, that was showed on the smartphone in the Stores
NEARBY STOP
Departure board nearby public trasport (2016)
Nearby Stop is an app that shows you the departure board for all surrounding stations and public transit stops.
Nearby Stop is the quickest and simplest way to check on your transport options. With just one tap, the traveller is able to see all the trains, buses, trams and boats departing in his vicinity.
The app covers the entire Swiss Public Transport network (SBB trains and local transport). It works also in the rest of Europe, though for certain countries it might not cover every public transport option.

BEAUTYPOINT
E-commerce for beauty products (2010)
Beautypoint was a large beauty stores chain, with over than 50 shops located in Lazio and in Italy and assimilated by La Gardenia Group. The Company sold hundeds of products from several different brands.
My role
I designed the interface, produced the mockups for the developers, presented on site the project to the Client and collaborate with the Costumer's graphic department and the Content manager
